gettin' better

First I want to thank you all for the good wishes to get better.

While wearing the braces for 10 days now...I think (knock on wood) it's helping !!!
I am pleased, although it's like wearing wintergloves with 30 degrees celsius (pffftt), it's still better then surgery. I hope to get some more news next week, about the plan my doctor has when he sees the results of the tests...so I'll wait and see.

I am sooooooo happy with our airco these days ... and wonder how you are doing with the (sticky)heat lately???

I'll be back soon,
take care !!!

It's been a long time ...

Since I wrote my blog... I am sorry ! I have been taking some time of to rest my hands which are suffering from CTS (carpaal tunnel syndrom). My hands are still not recovered but now I wear braces to afix my wrists and it really helps. I don't want to get an other problem (wrists that are stiff) so I am still working out how/when to wear them (doctors told me to wear them 24 hrs) to get the total profit out of it.

Besides this (health) problem I am OK ! Did a lot of fun things during the last couple of months. Went to the Apenheul to see my 'family' (that was long before Bokito in Rotterdam teached us to be careful with making contact...), watched great sandsculptures in Scheveningen, went to the Libelle-week with my niece Marjolein, had a great day at Dolls&Decorations doing a 'make and take' with POSCA pens (luv'them!) and ofcourse I gave workshops at Hobby Van Eijk and Creatief met Foto's. So have been busy...

May 20st, my nice Berthe gave birth to a beautiful little girl and together with DH Barry they called her Daphne. Within 24 hrs I was there to take some (haha 250 !!) pictures, one of them was put on the birthnotes (you can imagine how proud I was about that !!).

The picture I love most, is where Daphne lays on her mommies arm and hand:

You know who inspired me to take this pic???

I'll be back soon to show some of my new work and to share more news (because there is !!)

Take care, please!
